Reader Amanda Sutton writes: “My family loves reading the Police and Opinion pages together every week, and I love seeing issues reported on in depth. My son is determined to make it into The Bridge!”
To that end, the Sutton family packed copies of their hometown paper on trips to two continents.
Above are Max, Sam, Alex, and George Sutton getting in some successful sockeye salmon fishing on the Kenai River in Soldotna, Alaska. The Bridge also made it to Shakes Glacier in the Stikine-LeConte Wilderness and Cascade Creek in the Tongass National Forest. As a bonus, Sam took us to the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
