Wednesday, December 4

2:28 p.m. A Walden Terrace resident reported finding a jacket not belonging to anyone in the household in the mudroom the day before. Nothing was missing from the residence. Police responded.

4:31 p.m. An Arena Terrace woman reported checks were stolen from her mailbox. 

6:50 p.m. A Main Street woman reported her dog, a boxer, was missing. The dog is chipped. Police notified the animal control officer.

7:14 p.m. A 911 caller reported his car slid and got stuck off the side of Main Street. Police called for a tow truck and took the property owner’s information for any damage caused by the car.

Thursday, December 5

7:52 a.m. A 911 caller reported a two-car crash at Main and River Streets. Police issued a written warning to one driver, and tow trucks cleared the vehicles.

Friday, December 6

11:22 a.m. An Authors Road resident called for assistance for a FedEx driver locked out of his truck.

11:54 a.m. A caller reported her car was hit while parked on Baker Avenue and that no note was left. Police responded, searching for camera footage that may have captured the collision. A witness told officers the crash happened at 11:22 a.m. 

3:27 p.m. Staff from a Sudbury Road business reported a theft from the month before when a man stole about $400 worth of Legos on November 20.

Saturday, December 7

3:42 p.m. A caller reported a hunter in the woods off Border Road near the Concord Water Department treatment plant. Officers were unable to locate the hunter.

Sunday, December 8

2:01 a.m. An officer stopped a car on Route 2 by the Concord rotary for swerving and ultimately arrested the operator on drunken driving charges. Police charged a 39-year-old Louisiana man with operating under the influence, possession of an open container, and marked-lane violations. Police ordered the car towed, and a county commissioner set bail.

9:16 a.m. A Musterfield Road resident reported finding a car parked on his lawn. Responding officers found the car had damage consistent with a possible crash the night before. Police ordered the car towed.

2 p.m. A 911 caller from Nashawtuc Road reported damage to her garden. Responding officers checked the area for surveillance cameras that might have captured the incident.

Monday, December 9

9:07 a.m. A driver reported breaking down on Main Street and said they were waiting for a tow truck. A responding officer said the car lost its drive shaft and could not operate. The officer assisted with traffic for one to two hours until the tow truck arrived. 

10:04 a.m. A dog walker called 911 to report she lost a black standard poodle in the woods off Lowell Road near Lindsay Pond Road. Officers notified the animal control officer, but the dog walker called back after locating the dog herself.

11:36 a.m. A Strawberry Hill Road resident reported a package stolen from her front porch about five minutes earlier. She told police a man described as shorter and heavier set, wearing all black, walked up her driveway and took the package. Police responded. The homeowner agreed to forward video footage to police.

4:53 p.m. Pro EMS reported a two-car crash on Route 2 westbound by Fairhaven Road, with one person reporting neck pain. State Police responded; paramedics took one person to Emerson Hospital.

5:07 p.m. A resident asked to speak to police about an ongoing fraud issue.

5:12 p.m. An Old Stow Road caller made a noise complaint regarding what sounded like dirt bikes near the dirt access road to Acton. Police responded.

5:25 p.m. A 911 caller reported a car that had skidded off the roadway and was stuck on a retaining wall in the Emerson Hospital parking lot with a person trapped inside. Emergency responders freed the person from the car, and a tow truck removed the car from the retaining wall.

8:06 p.m. A Shadyside Avenue resident asked police to conduct a well-being check on their neighbor after finding the neighbor’s dog wandering on Bypass Road. Police notified the owner and returned the dog.

Tuesday, December 10

11:41 a.m. A passing motorist reported a stray black dog wandering around Lowell and Keyes Roads. Officers were unable to find the dog.
