While civics superfans may best know Minuteman Media Network, the cable access station of Concord (and Carlisle), for its government meeting broadcasts, MMN also took home a top prize from the Alliance for Community Media for special coverage.
MMN won first place for its coverage of the Concord Free Public Library’s 150th Anniversary celebration in the “Community Event — Multiple Cameras” category.
“We’re proud to say we beat larger cities like Boston and NYC,” network manager Julie Manoogian said.
The team received its plaque at an Olde Mistick Village, Connecticut, ceremony at which the Alliance recognized excellence in community media production.
