The Concord Association of Retired Men conducted its monthly meeting on Wednesday, January 15. This meeting was particularly exciting in that we had two members of the group give a 20-minute overview of their life journey.
Bruce Zandi discussed his journey from Iran to a successful career in mechanical engineering and health care organizations.
Alec Wyeth told us about his career as an educator. Alec achieved a doctorate in education and taught in foreign countries as well as the U.S.
Also, Jim Callihan reviewed some books that he is reading, including poetry books.
Dr. Spencer Borden gave his monthly health report as a means of keeping us seniors up to date on relevant health issues, and Jerry Hurley discussed his music activities, as well as playing some songs.
We are a diverse and exciting group. Any retiree interested in joining our group, call Bob Marquis at (508) 733-1575.
