Thank you, Concord and Middlesex School, for helping Concord250 to raise the money for the 250 trees to be planted around the town. We have met our goal, and the town is looking forward to beginning the planting this spring. Look for the 250 logo on the watering skirts to celebrate this landmark achievement.
Now, Concordians, we need money to help us make this celebration a delightful and safe event for ourselves and the many visitors who will join us on April 19. You have probably seen Uncle Sam and Rosie the Riveter asking for your engagement. Please go to Concord250.org and push on the “donate here” to contribute to the Town 250 Gift Fund. Large or small, every gift makes a difference.
Your donations will support the dozens of communitywide celebrations that will honor Concord’s leading role in the birth of our country, including essential transportation needs, block party events following the parade, and the public promotion of timely information for Concord’s momentous anniversary.
