Alexa Anderson ‘approachable, fair, understanding’

January 31, 2025

As a resident of Concord for more than 35 years, where I raised my four children, and as a former teacher at Milldam Nursery School (MNS) for 19 years, I am honored to endorse Alexa Anderson for School Committee.

I got to know Alexa very well during the six-year period she sent her three children to MNS. During that time, Alexa was an active member of the community, where she served on the MNS board for several years.

Alexa took a leading role in collaborating with the Concord Free Public Library to fundraise and install the bronze duck (created by well-renowned sculptor Nancy Schon), which now resides in the outdoor garden attached to the new Children’s Library.

I can attest that Alexa is wonderful to work with, and she has a natural ability to bring people together and connect with others. She is a good listener, approachable, fair, understanding, and follows through to the end. While working closely with Alexa, she tackled issues thoughtfully and from the perspective of what would benefit the majority.

Evident by her work over the past two years as chair of the School Committee, Alexa continues to demonstrate her leadership abilities as she performs at a high level for the benefit of students and parents.

Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly endorse Alexa to be reelected to the School Committee.
