I am writing to fully endorse and express my support for Sandeep Pisharody’s candidacy for a seat on the School Committee. Sandeep served as treasurer on the executive board of the Thoreau Elementary Parent Teacher Group for four years, and in my role as co-president, I had the pleasure of working closely with him for two of those years.
I can personally attest to his fiscal responsibility, trustworthiness, and unwavering passion for involvement in our community’s education system. With genuine and infectious enthusiasm, Sandeep was a reliable presence at all of our events throughout the school year.
Sandeep is an excellent communicator who successfully balanced controlling spending while working collaboratively to deliver outstanding programming and educational opportunities — not only for the students at Thoreau but for all children in the Concord education system. With his background in computer science, Sandeep is uniquely qualified to provide insight on how we can prepare students for academic excellence in a technology-driven society.
He is driven to foster strong community partnerships, and, based on our numerous interactions, I can affirm his transparency and commitment to upholding the highest ethical principles. It is Sandeep’s mission to empower students so they can reach their full potential and build a better future.
