‘Enthusiastic support’ for Michael Williams

February 7, 2025

I am writing with enthusiastic support of Dr. Michael Williams’ candidacy for School Committee. Michael has lived in Concord for many years and his four children have all been educated in the Concord schools. I have found him to be thoughtful, articulate, intelligent and able to address topics that would benefit from deeper discussion, deliberation, and action by the School Committee.

As we all know, Concord has great schools staffed by excellent teachers and administrators. Even so, there is always room to more fully realize our aspirations. The opportunity to supply each student with the necessary resources and meet their needs in an environment that accepts them as they are is, I believe, a core value of the Concord school system. As a retired otolaryngology surgeon who primarily served pediatric patients and their families, Michael brings energy, experience, and a skill set that can enhance and forward goals that exist but are not yet fully realized.

Michael is able to work successfully with others to address complex problems. As a member of the School Committee, he will bring a fresh perspective, skills, and the ability to maintain the quality of education that we now benefit from and improve areas that will better serve all of our students.

Please join me in voting for Michael Williams for School Committee.
