We are strongly endorsing Sandeep Pisharody for the Concord School Committee. As residents of Concord for over 30 years, our family has been enriched by our community, and our children were the beneficiaries of a wonderful school system. Our endorsement of Sandeep gives us great confidence for the future of our students and community.
We have known Sandeep since 2017, when he and his family moved to Concord. Sandeep is a neighbor and friend. He and his wife, Shuchi, are the devoted parents of two children who attend Thoreau School. We have had the opportunity to meet their extended family from India, and we have enjoyed learning about their diverse background and culture. Sandeep is a first-generation immigrant, which gives him perspective on supporting students and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Sandeep is invested in our town and the success of all of our children. He has served on the Thoreau Parent Teacher Group board and Concord Education Fund board and has coached youth sports. He is dedicated to advocating for our students and our entire community. He is committed to education. Sandeep has a vision for the future and a skill set that our school committee would benefit from.
Sandeep’s priorities are for inclusion and support of all students so that all students are given the best opportunities for educational success. He is committed to accountability, fiscal responsibility, and transparency.
We are excited to support Sandeep, and we believe his attributes make him the best candidate for the Concord School Committee.
