Michael Williams for ‘thoughtful analysis’

February 14, 2025

Concordians are proud of their schools, the teachers that coach our children to be critical thinkers and compassionate classmates, and our beautiful buildings that enable this learning to occur. The Concord School Committee works tirelessly to ensure that our schools provide the very best learning environment for our children, who are, in fact, our future leaders.

Michael Williams would provide the compassion, perspective, and thoughtful analysis that is essential as Concord faces tough choices about our collective future.

I raised two children in Concord and only met Michael recently. From my first meeting, I recognized Michael’s goodwill and sincere desire to build collaboration across disparate groups. He radiates the desire to understand and connect. We need such bridge builders in our town.

Michael has so many other attributes that attest to his love for children, including his career as a pediatric ear, nose, and throat surgeon operating at Mass Eye and Ear  and Boston Children’s. But that is not what makes him a perfect candidate for Concord School Committee.

Rather, it is his experience raising four mixed-race children with his amazing wife, Clary, in Concord. He knows both the challenges and potential of our amazing town to educate children and build strong communities.

I have great hope for the future of our town. I feel that Michael, as he so often says, can help us work together to truly build a Concord for all. We need Michael on the Concord School Committee. Please vote for Michael on April 8.
