As a parent and engaged community member in Concord, I have seen firsthand the importance of strong leadership in our schools. That’s why I wholeheartedly support Sandeep Pisharody for the School Committee. With two children at Thoreau, Sandeep understands the challenges and opportunities in our district. His deep community involvement — including serving on the Thoreau Parent Teacher Group board, the Concord Education Fund Board, and coaching youth sports — shows his commitment to our schools.
Sandeep’s background as a first-generation immigrant from a family of educators and his background and experience in problem-solving, collaboration, and education policy makes him exceptionally qualified to lead.
He is committed to true inclusion, ensuring every child, regardless of background or learning style, receives the support they need. He values accountability and transparency, advocating for data-driven decisions that reflect community input. Most importantly, he prioritizes fiscal responsibility, balancing school improvements with responsible spending.
