Re-elect schools chair Alexa Anderson for her ‘dedication, diligence, empathy’

February 14, 2025

I am writing to enthusiastically endorse Alexa Anderson for the School Committee. I have been a resident of Concord for 37 years and have raised our three children here. I am a former teacher at Milldam Nursery School, where I first met Alexa when her children were at MNS.

During her time at MNS, Alexa was highly active, holding several positions. I found her always willing to jump right in. Alexa served both the Thoreau School Parent Teacher Group as vice president, as well as the Willard School PTG. During her time at Willard, she volunteered on the Concord Public Library Communications Committee, as well as the Concord Foundation Community Chest, clearly showing her dedication to the town of Concord.

I have always felt that Alexa has been ready to step in and volunteer for the extra committees; she is a great listener and has effective communication skills. Alexa has shown herself to be a strong advocate for Concord Public Schools and has a great ability to connect with people.

Alexa’s work on the Concord School Committee, for which she has served as chair for the past two years, has shown her dedication to Concord’s students and families is nothing short of remarkable. Her work ethic, optimism, and focus on what truly matters makes her the right choice for School Committee. In addition, Alexa’s work with the Finance Committee shows her ability to strike a thoughtful balance. She is deeply committed to providing the children of Concord with the programs and services they deserve while being cognizant of budget constraints and the impact on taxpayers.

Alexa is a leader who demonstrates dedication, diligence, empathy, and forward-thinking qualities needed on the School Committee. Please join me in supporting Alexa Anderson for the Concord School Committee.
