A slow-speed crash involving a Commuter Rail train and a white sedan on Conant Street at 7 p.m. Sunday left the car’s driver with minor injuries, according to a Concord Fire Department account of events.
The driver was the only person in the car. Emergency crews responded and brought the driver to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
The Commuter Rail train was headed toward Fitchburg at the time of the crash. An MBTA post on X said passengers switched to a separate train to continue their journey.

Concord police closed Conant Street and remained on scene for several hours alongside firefighters and MBTA Transit Police officers.
Concord police captain Brian Goldman deferred questions to the transit police.
Transit police superintendent Richard Sullivan said police were still investigating the crash as of around 8:45 p.m. and did not provide any additional information.
Concord fire chief Thomas Judge, in a statement, said firefighters responded quickly with police and EMS personnel to provide care and secure the scene.
“We are grateful that this incident did not result in more serious injuries,” he said.
We will update as more information becomes available.
