My husband and I grew up in Concord and have raised our family here; as such, we have known Alexa Anderson our whole lives. Alexa is intelligent, engaged, and committed to the families and students at Concord schools. Over the past six months, I have had the opportunity to volunteer with Alexa at the Community Closet run by the Concord Carlisle Foundation (formerly the Community Chest). In this capacity, I have witnessed her unwavering commitment to the families in this community, including those from the shelter. Her selflessness and kindness, which are shared unconditionally and consistently, are impressive. She listens carefully to families’ needs and responds appropriately and thoughtfully. As always, she serves quietly, without recognition, because she cares about each family as if it were her own. She has extended this same approach to her role on the School Committee, and the town is fortunate to have her volunteer to serve in this capacity for another term. I encourage you to vote to re-elect Alexa for the School Committee.
