12:26 p.m. A Concord Bookshop staff member called 911 to report a verbal altercation with a customer over what police described as unknown literature. According to police reports, the customer left on foot.
4:46 p.m. Police reported a two-vehicle crash near Lexington Road and Monument Square. Police cited one driver for failing to yield.
8:08 p.m. A Main Street resident called 911 to report a vehicle hit their granite front stoop and left. First responders and the building inspector responded. Police searched for a dark-colored Ford truck or SUV but could not find it. The crash is still under investigation.
Thursday, February 13
8:41 a.m. The Water Department said a vehicle went off the road and into the woods near ORNAC. The vehicle crashed into a tree, sustained damage, and had to be towed. Two people refused treatment.
3:36 p.m. Dispatch received a 911 call in the area of Monument Street. The caller told police the call was made by their Apple watch.
Friday, February 14
9:09 a.m. A building director at ORNAC said a black BMW without plates had been parked in the parking lot for about two weeks. Police were to follow up with the owner.
3:15 p.m. Dispatch received a 911 call from near Commonwealth Avenue. The caller told police his Apple Watch made the call after the wearer exited the train at the West Concord depot.
Sunday, February 16
10:38 a.m. The Highway Department reported that a municipal plow hit a vehicle parked in front of the Town House on Monument Square due to snow. Police responded.
3:29 p.m. A caller told police that the railroad gates on Sudbury Road at Thoreau Street weren’t functioning properly. Concord police, the MBTA, transit police, and Keolis were notified. Police shut down Sudbury Road at Grant Street. The gates were later operational.
3:30 p.m. A 911 caller reported a large puddle taking up part of the Route 2 eastbound travel lane between Sudbury Road and Walden Street. State police were notified and said they would advise MassDOT.
4:43 p.m. A caller reported a large puddle in front of Orchard House and said vehicles were swerving into the opposite lane to avoid it. Police advised Concord Public Works.
9:54 p.m. A caller told police that the railroad gates on Sudbury Road at Thoreau Street were stuck down. Keolis was notified and planned to have a technician respond to check the gates. Police later reported that the gates were functioning again.
10:19 p.m. A 911 caller reported that multiple vehicles on Monsen Road were revving their engines and causing a disturbance. Police responded and said a vehicle was parked on the grass and was trying to move out of the snow.
Monday, February 17
9:53 a.m. A Hunter Ridge Road resident reported a lost dog wandering around his yard. The caller described the dog as a brown Lab or retriever wearing a collar. Police notified animal control. Another resident told police they saw the dog walk through their yard, heading toward Border Road. Police were unable to locate the dog.
10:29 a.m. Concord Public Works said an unoccupied vehicle was parked at the entrance to the new section of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery near Bedford Street, blocking access for them to treat the roads in the cemetery. Police responded and said the owner returned and moved the vehicle.
3:04 p.m. Police responded to the Cambridge Turnpike for a reported two-vehicle crash. Police cited one of the drivers for failing to use caution. There were no injuries.
Tuesday, February 18
10:42 a.m. A mail carrier said his truck broke down in front of 2182 Main Street. Police responded and said the vehicle was towed. At 10:46 a.m., a Main Street resident called 911 to report a running vehicle was parked in the driveway with no one at the wheel. Police determined it was the disabled mail truck.
5:05 p.m. A person walked into the police building, asking to speak with an officer about an argument with a Starbucks employee earlier that day. The person left the department to calm down and said they would follow up with an officer, who later gave them advice.
