Select Board needs Paul Boehm’s‘leadership and strategic thinking’

March 7, 2025

Paul Boehm will be an excellent member of the Select Board and active participant in the myriad details of town government. He has been devoted to Concord and to fostering community across generations.

In particular, he has vision and expertise for the issues the town will face on reuse for 2229 Main Street and the MCI property. Acquiring and repurposing these unique parcels of land will be of paramount importance to the future of housing and recreation in Concord, as well as new tax revenue opportunities. Paul’s experience on the 2229 Main Street Advisory Task Force, the Recreation Commission, and the Community Preservation Committee in particular, will afford the Select Board leadership and strategic thinking on the risks and rewards of land use management.

He is committed to solving the cell tower coverage gap in Concord, to making Town Meeting more inclusive, to ensuring Concord’s long-term financial health and stability through equitable tax policies, and to increasing efficiencies and sharing processes among boards and committees.

Paul is attentive to the diverse points of view in our town and is alert to making defensible decisions with a long view to the future. He is fair and impartial. His ability to make decisions with clear rationale will be an asset to the Select Board, as will his track record of working tirelessly and collaboratively with diverse groups.

Paul is committed to good governance and clear, civil communication. I urge you to join me to vote for Paul in the town election on April 8.
