Concord-Carlisle High School wrestling co-captain Eddie Myles concluded his high school career as the winningest wrestler in the school’s history, with 149 victories. Myles capped his senior season with a 51-6 record, with more than 40 wins coming from technical fall or pins.

Myles was also the only CCHS wrestler to compete in last weekend’s New England Wrestling Tournament in Providence. Myles won his first match in dominant fashion, with an 18-1 technical fall. His second match was against a former New England Tournament champion and national champion. Myles never let up but was ultimately pinned in the final seconds of the third round. Undeterred, Myles beat his next two opponents, including the Division 3 Massachusetts state champion, to qualify for day two of the tournament. On day two, Myles went 1-1 and finished in the top eight in New England.
Next year, Myles will wrestle for Hall of Fame coach Bruce Haberli at New York University.
