Wednesday, February 26
8:24 a.m. A school bus was unable to pass tree trucks at Barretts Mill and College Roads. The detail officer had the work trucks moved.
2:10 p.m. A caller reported an Amazon vehicle was blocking the roadway at Winslow and Main Streets, and she was unable to pass. When the driver returned to his truck, he allegedly made a gesture at the caller. Police responded; verbal altercation only.
3:25 p.m. A walk-in party turned in an American Express card. Policy contacted the owner and returned it.
4:22 p.m. A Virginia Road caller reported a landscaping company was removing snow from a parking lot and dumping it on the sidewalk on Old Bedford Road. Police responded; the landscaper removed the snow, and there was no hazard.
4:31 p.m. A caller reported a person sitting on Lees Bridge. Police responded; it was someone taking a walk who did not want to speak to the officers and declined needing services.
5:42 p.m. A Commerford Road resident reported a missing shepherd-husky mix. The Animal Control officer was contacted and followed up.
Thursday, February 27
11:08 a.m. A caller reported the traffic lights out at Concord Turnpike and Baker Avenue Extension. The person who struck the light pole subsequently called the police to tell them and was referred to the state police. The lights were repaired, and the intersection was cleared.
1:04 p.m. A 911 caller reported his car was rear-ended on Main Street near Thoreau Street and the driver kept going. His car had minor damage. Police took a description of the second vehicle, which was gone when police arrived.
1:08 p.m. A Domino Drive caller found a license plate in a parking lot. Police retrieved the plate.
Friday, February 28
8:29 a.m. An Old Bedford Road resident reported a possibly sick raccoon in her yard. Police notified the ACO.
10:15 a.m. An officer noticed a second-story window screen on a home on Barretts Mill Road appeared to be off. Police checked the area and left a message for the homeowner, who called back and said the screen had been off for days and that there was no cause for concern.
1:21 p.m. A caller said she was crossing the street in front of Concord Academy when a car failed to stop for her in the crosswalk. She didn’t have a plate or vehicle description but requested extra traffic enforcement. The safety officer was notified.
4:40 p.m. An officer checked on an empty car on Lexington Road at Manuel Drive. The driver was using the bathroom.
10:53 p.m. A Range Road caller reported there was no power. Police contacted Concord Municipal light plant to follow up.
Saturday, March 1
11:23 a.m. A caller reported a man at Laws Brook and Wright Roads leaning on a tree with his pants down, possibly urinating. Police checked the area but the man was gone.
12:18 p.m. A caller reported that while parked in West Concord his car was hit, with no note left. A witness provided a description of the car, which was seen on Commonwealth Avenue. Police contacted the owner of the involved vehicle and issued a written warning for failure to use care.
3:32 p.m. A caller reported a woman loitering in front of CVS, blocking the door, and asking for money. Police spoke with her; she said she had taken the train in from Boston. Police advised her of the soliciting bylaw, and the woman moved along.
4:27 p.m. A Minuteman Drive caller reported a skunk in her yard. The ACO was notified.
Sunday, March 2
2:30 a.m. Police stopped a car on Route 2 near Sudbury Road for a marked-lanes violation and subsequently arrested a man for operating under the influence of alcohol, first offense, and the marked-lanes violation. The car was towed, and the bail commissioner was contacted.
12:54 p.m. A Flint Road caller reported they had no water. The Concord Water Department was notified and said they were aware and responding. At 1:34 p.m., the water department requested traffic assistance while a crew worked on a water main break.
2:07 p.m. A Walden Street caller reported a dead raccoon in front of his house. Police contacted Concord Public Works.
9:26 p.m. A 911 caller reported a three-car accident on Route 2 at Emerson Hospital. Police, fire, and ambulance responded. One person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated, after another car hit the driver’s door and rendered it inoperable. The injured parties were transported to Emerson. Two vehicles were towed. The state Department of Transportation was notified of guardrail damage.
Monday, March 3
10:42 a.m. A 911 caller reported she lost her standard poodle in Estabrook Woods across from Carr Road. Police notified the ACO.
1:35 p.m. A delivery driver on Main Street locked himself out of his running vehicle with his 2-year-old daughter inside. Police responded and were able to gain entry.
2:36 p.m. A 911 caller reported an erratic driver on Route 2 east at ORNAC. The caller was worried the driver was falling asleep. Police located the vehicle on Concord Turnpike and determined the driver was all right.
2:46 p.m. A Davis Court resident reported a yellow Lab mix in front of their home. ACO said it would follow up.
Tuesday, March 4
8:49 a.m. A person came into the station to turn in lost cards and licenses.
8:50 a.m. A Williams Road resident reported her Facebook profile had been taken over by an unknown party.
1 p.m. A dog walker reported a lost dog near Old Marlboro and Williams Roads. ACO was notified.
1:41 p.m. A 911 caller reported he had used an ATM on Main Street to withdraw money, took a phone call, and then a woman stole his money. Police are investigating.
3:39 p.m. An employee from the Gulf station on Main Street reported a patron filled her car with washer fluid and was refusing to pay. Police responded, and the person paid.
6:34 p.m. An office checked on an unoccupied car at Valley Sports with the door open. Police were unable to locate the owner but secured the vehicle.
9:41 p.m. A Barretts Mill Road caller reported a cat without a collar “hanging around” outside his house. Police had not had any lost cat reports, but notified the ACO.
10:07 p.m. A Westford Road resident reported a loud noise, sounding like a running pump, near Lowell Road. Police responded but found no noise or issues.
11:39 p.m. A Walden Street caller reported his small mixed-breed dog ran off around 7:30 p.m. ACO was notified.
