Endorsement letters to wrap up on March 28

March 21, 2025

Since the beginning of this year, The Concord Bridge has been proud to publish scores of letters to the editor regarding candidates running in the April 8 town election. At times, we’ve even added extra pages to the newspaper to give voice to as many engaged, thoughtful readers as possible.

The Bridge is publishing as many letters as print space allows on Friday, March 21, and will do the same on Friday, March 28. We will then cease publishing letters related to the 2025 candidates for Select Board, School Committee, and Town Moderator.

Readers are welcome to continue sending letters, which will be considered (as always) in the order received and verified, but there is no guarantee of how many we’ll have space to present before it comes time for voters to make their own assessments of the candidates’ relative merits.

In our edition of Friday, April 4, our last before Election Day, we will instead provide our readers with a helpful overview of the offices at stake and the candidates seeking them, as well as poll site locations, hours, and other news you can use about voting.

Thank you for proving with your keyboards and pens that Concordians understand that a strong, healthy democracy has its deepest roots here at home.
