As Concord residents for nearly 30 years, we’ve been involved with and a part of many political campaigns and issues. Being able to participate in our age-old democratic institutions (250 years) is one of the many things we love about Concord and why we are so supportive of Mary Hartman. She is honest, hardworking, and is the current chair of the Select Board. Mary is unafraid to broach whatever issue is before her and has been instrumental in developing the transparent policies for both correspondence and the flag display issues. Mary has also made it a priority to work at keeping Concord affordable by supporting diverse housing opportunities and continuing various tax relief programs.
But perhaps Mary’s most important qualities are her abilities to work with others and to see things through. She communicates well and knows when to seek out the most qualified and experienced experts. Working through them and with others is so important, especially now when our inclusionary policies are under threat. She is a refreshing reminder of how government should be… caring, responsible, and for the people. Please vote for Mary Hartman, so she can continue working to keep our town transparent, inclusive, affordable, and, most importantly, the place where we all love to live.
