I’m endorsing Elizabeth Akehurst-Moore for Select Board. I’ve known Elizabeth for 15-plus years now. She is a valued and trusted member of our Concord Business Partnership board offering both her civic and legal expertise. Elizabeth has learned firsthand how to permit and build a successful business (Concord Market), which not only looks beautiful, but fills a wonderful need and positively impacts our town. She and her family are entrenched in the town and only now with her kids a bit older do we have an opportunity to put her skill set to work on our Select Board. Elizabeth has served on the Town Governance Committee, two terms on the Zoning Board of Appeals, and most recently was selected as a member of the MCI Advisory Committee. I think our town will benefit from Elizabeth’s experience, education, and common sense. I hope you will vote for Elizabeth on April 8.
