As our town election approaches, it is clear that many important land acquisitions, legal matters and critical ongoing governmental activities will challenge our next Select Board. I would like to offer, for your consideration, Mary Hartman as a member of that Select Board, because she has the proven ability to meet these challenges.
I have known Mary as a neighbor and friend for 14 years, but learned of her business and diplomatic skills as a colleague on the Concord Greene Condominiums Management board. It was no surprise to see her rise to the level of president of Concord Greene’s board in recognition of her fairness, objectivity, intelligence, and most importantly her open-mindedness. Subsequently, Mary also served as a member and also rose to chair the Concord Finance Committee and Select Board. As a Select Board member, Mary’s personal qualities would contribute to Concord’s continued success.
Given her extensive town committee background and proven ability to help lead our town committees with an open mind, please consider her when you vote for the Select Board.
