Local politics play a crucial role in the educational experiences of students and the well-being of our community. This election matters deeply at a time when public education governance is undergoing change and increased pressures. We need the best leaders for Concord.
Sandeep Pisharody and Alexa Anderson have an unwavering focus on students combined with their commitment to address priorities and make smart decisions. Their campaign messaging, social media presence, and public statements prioritize the needs of Concord’s children. It is clear that they will approach their work on the School Committee through that lens.
Sandeep and Alexa have pledged to foster more transparency, communication, and collaboration across our town government, actively seeking out connections with Select Board and Finance Committee members to ensure priorities are shared, compromises are made, and fiscal responsibility is upheld for taxpayers across all aspects of our town’s plan.
Beyond their words, their volunteer record in Concord speaks volumes. Both Sandeep and Alexa have dedicated significant time and energy as Parent Teacher Group members and Ed Fund volunteers. These organizations are committed to enhancing educational experiences while also offsetting expenses for taxpayers. Through their work, Sandeep and Alexa have helped bring innovative programs and assemblies to our students which might otherwise fall on taxpayers or not happen at all. Their dedication to education and innovation is evident in the ways they have already worked to enrich our schools.
At a time when our schools need strong, informed, and engaged leaders, we cannot overlook the importance of track records and proven commitment. Sandeep Pisharody and Alexa Anderson have demonstrated through both action and advocacy that they are the right choice for Concord’s students and families. I encourage all voters to join me on April 8 in supporting them for School Committee.
