My wife and I are proud to endorse Alexa Anderson for re-election to the School Committee. The coming years will need steady guiding hands as fiscal pressure in town mounts and the ongoing challenges to meeting the varied academic needs of our community continue. I firmly believe that Alexa’s experience and common sense approach would continue to make her an essential member of the School Committee.
The coming years will be critical to our school system’s continued strong standing. The number of challenges facing our town and our schools going forward is daunting. Our strong schools are one of Concord’s most essential assets and a key reason many young families seek to move to our town. Alexa, who grew up in town and has children in the school system, understands this as well as anyone, and she has dedicated herself to preserving our town’s legacy as a top educator of our kids, ensuring that today’s young Concordians receive the same high level of education that Alexa and so many thousands before received.
In addition, Alexa has shown a willingness to listen to what the families in our extended community (including our METCO families) need. She works hard to ensure that each of these needs is being addressed. Her spirit of collaboration, while leveraging her intimate knowledge of the school system as the committee’s senior member, will enable Alexa to continue to provide effective and compassionate leadership for our school committee.
I feel confident that Alexa’s experience, dedication, and collaborative approach make her the right choice to continue to serve on the School Committee. I encourage you to vote for Alexa for re-election to the School Committee so the families in our community and our schools can continue to benefit from her continued leadership and expertise.
