Evaluate candidates’ actions, not just words

March 28, 2025

As Concord voters consider School Committee candidates, it’s essential to evaluate a candidate’s track record — not just their words, but their actions. More than ever, we need leaders who unite our community, not divide it. That’s why I strongly endorse Sandeep Pisharody and Alexa Anderson — the only unifying candidates with a proven record of volunteering across all educational levels, always leading with positivity, advocacy, and analysis. Their dedication to collaboration, respect, and putting students first demonstrates their deep commitment to our families. They volunteer not for themselves, but for the well-being and education of future generations.

Sandeep and Alexa understand students’ needs today. Through their campaign and social media presence, they have clearly communicated their priorities and perspectives. Their accessibility and openness to listening set them apart — they have built strong networks among Concord parents, who trust them to advocate for issues that impact our children most. In my conversations with them, I have always felt heard, understood, and supported, even when we didn’t fully agree. Their collaborative spirit will strengthen our schools for all learners.

Their volunteer records speak volumes. They have worked alongside a diverse range of citizens, demonstrating their ability to collaborate and build consensus. Their endorsements from town committee members confirm they are respected leaders in our community. No other candidates bring this level of engagement and experience.

Track records matter. Actions speak louder than words. Sandeep and Alexa are the only candidates who have proven their dedication through meaningful action. At a time when unity is crucial, we need leaders who listen, bridge differences, and work toward solutions that benefit all families and all community members. I urge Concord voters to support them. As a parent, I know I will. Our future depends on the success of our children.
