For ‘hopeful vision,’ Anderson and Pisharody

March 28, 2025

I’m writing to express my strong support for Alexa Anderson and Sandeep Pisharody for School Committee. As a community, we are best served by candidates who lead with integrity, optimism, and a collaborative spirit — and they both exemplify those values.

It’s been disheartening, especially at this late stage in the election, to see a shift away from respectful discourse. Many of the negative letters I’ve seen have come from someone publicly listed as a supporter of Dr. Williams. These attacks are not only unfounded; they’re unworthy of the tone and values we should expect in our local elections.

Equally disappointing is The Bridge’s decision to publish these negative letters. Our community deserves a forum that promotes thoughtful dialogue and avoids being a vehicle for personal attacks, especially when they are baseless and clearly politically motivated.

Ironically, these smear efforts have only solidified my support for the other candidates who have maintained a positive, issues-focused campaign. Sandeep and Alexa have shared a clear, hopeful vision for our schools that is rooted in transparency, inclusivity, and a deep respect for diverse perspectives. They bring not only fresh ideas but also a genuine desire to work collaboratively with families, educators, and fellow committee members.

We need leaders who lift up the conversation, not drag it down. They have shown grace under pressure and a steadfast commitment to working together for the benefit of all students. Her voice will be a valuable and steadying force on the School Committee.

I urge Concord voters to join me in supporting Alexa and Sandeep. Let’s choose optimism, collaboration, and leadership with integrity.
