During my time as town moderator, I came to admire citizens with three qualities. First, they did their homework, served on committees, and were knowledgeable about subjects being considered. Second, they genuinely respected others’ opinions and were not pursuing personal (or secret) agendas. And third, they were thoughtful decision makers.
Two candidates who embody these qualities are Paul Boehm for Select Board and Michael Williams for School Committee. Experienced, open, thoughtful.
And for those wanting to vote for change, please note: neither Paul nor Michael have held elected office before.
And for those who understand the steep Select Board learning curve, Mary Hartman’s thorough, thoughtful leadership is the experience town government needs.
