I am writing to endorse Alexa Boland Anderson for School Committee. I have known Alexa since she was a freshman at CCHS. Even then, she was highly intelligent, inclusive, progressive, and forward-thinking. She was a founding member of Spectrum, the gay-straight alliance at CCHS, despite the personal risk she took in 1992 being an open ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. From the start, Alexa was a bridge builder — a trait that has become more pronounced and more important over time. For these and many more reasons, I urge you to vote for Alexa. Now more than ever, Concord needs her, and those like her.
