The Concord250 logo has become a familiar sight over the past year.

On March 25, it rolled into Thoreau Depot on the side of a specially decorated Revolutionary War anniversary MBTA train car alongside logos from Arlington, Lexington, and Lincoln.

With the events around the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution fast approaching, Concord250 chair Gary Clayton reiterated calls for visitors to take the train.

“It’s a fantastic way to get back and forth to Concord,” he said as event organizers gathered for a photo-op.

The T will run extra Commuter Rail service between Boston and South Acton on April 19. Local officials have thanked T leadership in advance for their help with handling projected large crowds. The decorated train car, Clayton said, is an example of the T’s collaboration.

The red, white, and blue car will remain in regular service over the coming weeks. April 19 trains will start service at North Station in Boston at 4:30 a.m. The last inbound train will leave Concord at 9:45 p.m.
