Ready to enjoy Concord250? Here’s how

April 11, 2025

The people are coming, and so is the Concord250 parade. To prepare for this exciting event, the 250 Executive Committee hopes you have viewed the Minuteman Media YouTube recording (from April 1) of public information on the events on April 19. By going to the town’s website or Concord250.org, you can gather information on the coming celebration. You can also sign up for News and Notices on the town’s website, which will have the freshest news as the day approaches.

You may also be dusting off your cameras or checking to make certain you have a battery charger for your smartphones ready to capture the events of the day. We are delighted to have an official photographer for the day: Maia Kennedy. But we have created a site to share your photographs: forms.office.com/g/4BfsabSqyS. This is the creation of the town’s archivist, Nate Smith. He reports that all photos will be stored and maintained by the Town of Concord archives and made available to the public.

Please join us on Saturday, April 19. Enjoy the parade, which kicks off at 8:30 a.m., and the festivities that follow; all are listed on the Concord250 webpage.

You can also watch the parade from your living room, as it will be livestreamed by MMN; our radio station, WIQH 88.3 FM, will be broadcasting throughout. A jumbotron will be set up in the Emerson Field parking lot, and for those who cannot march to the bridge, the events may be viewed there.

Let’s provide a cheerful welcome to all.
