Amy Anne Lothrop of Acton passed away unexpectedly on January 25 from complications of multiple sclerosis.
Amy was born on Nov. 8, 1958, in Concord. She attended Concord-Carlisle High School, where she met her husband Mark. From an early age, Amy had a passion for art. After graduating, she went to woodworking school in North Adams. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, Amy founded a screen printing business, A.L. Designs, while also helping her husband pursue his dreams. She was an avid animal lover and advocate, who enjoyed summers creating memories on the lake with her husband and two boys.
Amy is survived by her husband, Mark Lombardo, and two boys: Ryan Lombardo and his fiancé Jen Cumming, Matthew Lombardo and fiancé Dakota Soberg and their two daughters, Bailee and Lilaa Lombardo. She also leaves behind her mother, Rose Lothrop, as well as two sisters, Carol Lothrop-Russell and husband Bill Russell and Joy Lothrop.
Services for Amy will be held privately at a later date.
