There is a large proposal for expansion of land area, airplane hangars and other infrastructure at Hanscom Field which will serve to enhance the convenience of private jet users, at the expense of natural destruction, noise and air pollution near Environmental Justice neighborhoods.
There is an online petition to the governor of Massachusetts, asking her to stop the project:

The Concord Select Board is likely to discuss the project and a possible response, such as a letter from the town to the governor, at their upcoming Monday, May 22 meeting.
