Evelyn Marie (Odell) Reynolds, 95, of Stow, formerly of Concord, passed away at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln on Sunday, June 25, 2023, following a period of declining health. She was the loving wife for 58 years of the late Atty. Leo R. Reynolds, who died in December 2016.
She was born in New York City on December 9, 1927, as the daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Vasser) Odell.
During her younger years, she worked for Sperry Rand Corporation, where she met her husband.
Evelyn was a former member of the West Concord Women’s Club. She enjoyed volunteering at Emerson Hospital for over twenty years. In her spare time, she loved gardening, skiing and golfing. She also had a keen interest and talent for interior design.
She leaves behind her devoted son, Gregory Reynolds and his wife Nevene of Stow, Massachusetts and North Port, Florida, and her beloved sister, Beatrice Stroupe of Indian Land, South Carolina. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, along with her extended family, John Reynolds and his wife Michele, and Loraine Reynolds.
Family and friends will gather for Evelyn’s Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 29th at 10:30 am at St. Bernard’s Church in Holy Family Parish, 12 Monument Square, Concord Center. Burial will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Concord.
