Wilton (Bill) Snowden Burton, Jr., of Falmouth and formerly of Concord, MA, passed away on July 6, 2023. He was 81 years old.
A graduate of Kent School, Syracuse University and Clarkson University, he was an electrical engineer and then founded and ran his own Real Estate Company, Bolton Center Realty. He was Treasurer for the Trinitarian Episcopal Church of Concord, Member of the First Congregational Church of Falmouth, and Former Member of The American Yacht Club, Concord Country Club, and Nashawtuc Country Club.
He loved golf, sailing, walking his beloved dog Gabby, reading historical non-fiction books, and technical day trading.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Jeanne Burton, daughter Lindsey Burton, stepdaughter Britt Ellison, and stepson Hans Ellison. He is also survived by sister Marsha Wilson and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Wilton S. Burton and Dorothy Neely Burton and brother Jonathan Burton.
A Memorial Service took place on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the First Congregational Church of Falmouth. Burial is private.
