West Concord’s Commonwealth Avenue has had something of a bumpy summer — literally and figuratively.
Road resurfacing has disrupted traffic, parking, and business for a chunk of the season, as seen here on a recent extra-sleepy July afternoon.
The Local Love campaign has sought to woo shoppers back with the West Concord Passport program, featuring a weekly Wednesday drawing and a Grand Prize drawing to come on October 11.
Through Labor Day, Thursday shoppers can also enjoy extended evening hours at shops including Reflections, A New Leaf, Joy Street Life & Home, Concord Firefly, Debra’s Natural Gourmet, Reasons to be Cheerful, Concord Art and Antiques and Art for All — plus live music on the Reflections patio from 5-7 p.m., featuring a different artist each Thursday through Labor Day.
Coming up August 10: Music by Seth Connolly.
