At the recent annual membership meeting of the Concord Chamber of Commerce, the tradition of presenting the Chamber’s Business Person of the Year distinction came to me, bringing forth my unqualified and deserved gratitude. The distinction, with its 1991 history, highlighted experience and connections via a tenured leadership role with the Chamber of Commerce; an affiliation initiated with JM Barrett Realty and following with Barrett Sotheby’s International Realty; and into the third decade with the volunteer structure of The Friends of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Inc. The visible support of the management, customers, clients, and constituents of those organizations means more than can be adequately expressed.
These elements make Concord even more special, and I am deeply gifted to be so honored as having a role in them. The Chamber leadership and its range of members are valued strengths of our town, and merit support.
