I am writing in support of Andrew Herchek for School Committee. I first met Andrew six years ago. He is my neighbor, and now I also consider him a very close friend.
If you know Andrew, you know that he loves this town. He often talks fondly of growing up on Strawberry Hill Road and meeting his wife, Whitney, on the soccer fields of CCHS. He and his wife are proud products of our great public schools, as will be his two young children.
Andrew is smart, accomplished and pragmatic. At the same time he is grounded, approachable, and has a strong ability to be objective.
As the issues facing our schools expand in complexity, we need leaders like Andrew who are committed to doing what is in the best interest of our kids and our town. Andrew would be an excellent addition to our School Committee.
