Support ‘true Concordian’ Wendy Rovelli for Select Board

March 11, 2024

I have known and worked with Wendy for about 10 years. When I was a Select Board member, Wendy was serving on the FinCom. And we served together on the Light Plant Board.

Wendy is a true Concordian. She was born here, went to CCHS and her kids were born and educated here too. She is invested in this town.

When Wendy tackles a problem, she takes the time to understand all sides before offering an opinion. She is a thoughtful listener and I know first-hand that she often asks insightful questions that help her, and others, to complete an analysis of the problem.

This kind of rigor of thought would be a tremendous asset to the Select Board where issues are numerous and complex, and often take a balancing of competing interests to resolve.

Wendy really cares about Concord and is not afraid to raise concerns about our town budgets and costs, especially when they impact taxpayers’ ability to pay.

What you are hearing from me is that she doesn’t shoot from the hip.

Recently retired from her day job, she is ready to tackle the myriad of issues that come before the SB. And give it her all.

Join me in voting for Wendy on April 9.
