Brooke Christine Keil, 46

October 14, 2024

Brooke Christine Keil, 46, of Bolton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a fierce battle with appendiceal cancer.

Born November 27, 1977, she was the daughter of the late L. Scott and Roxanne (Johnson) Keil.

Brooke was a warrior in every sense of the word, and she fought her battle courageously while always worrying about others, especially her pride and joy, her son, Kasen Scott. Brooke is predeceased by her father, “father-in-law” Roy T. Mulcahy, aunt Linda Johnson, and cousin Scott Rodman as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Brooke graduated from Londonderry High School in Londonderry, New Hampshire and received her bachelor’s in psychology from Alfred University in 2000. She became a recruiter out of college and never did a role better suit her. She was funny, charismatic, smart, empathetic, generous, and people-savvy. She worked for various companies as a certified professional in human resources and spent the last 13 years at Emerson Hospital in Concord as the director of human resources.

Brooke always enjoyed a good laugh and a funny prank. Her quick wit made her fun to be around. Brooke cared about her family and friends deeply. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend with a smile that lit up every room she entered.

She leaves behind her beloved son, Kasen Scott Mulcahy, 10, and her partner Roy Mulcahy, both of Bolton; Roy’s children Brenna and Cole of Arlington; her mother Roxanne Keil of Windham, New Hampshire; “mother-in-law” Marlene Mulcahy of New York; brother Blake Keil (Jennifer) of Cache, Oklahoma; and sister Bridget Cappannari (Ryan) of Londonderry, New Hampshire, as well as an amazing niece and four incredible nephews, a loving aunt and uncle, cousins, and a brother and many sisters through Roy.

Friends and family were scheduled to gather to honor and celebrate Brooke’s life on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m., Friday, October 18, at St. Theresa’s Church, 15 Still River Road, Harvard. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Naka Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital.
