As Concord approaches the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution, the town is launching a bold public fundraising campaign to support dozens of communitywide celebrations that honor Concord’s leading role in the birth of our country.
From our quintessential parade to musical performances, a quilt show, multiple artistic endeavors, speaker events, and themed Visitor Center tours, to name a few, Concord will enjoy a swell of revolutionary activities from November through April 19, 2025. This official Town 250 Gift Fund makes everything possible.
Watch for the World War I and World War II vintage posters — in The Bridge and around town — which encourage donors near and far to support these momentous celebrations, evoking a sense of local pride, patriotism, and unity.
We anticipate a worldwide presence as people travel great distances to attend the April 2025 events. Concord’s Town 250 Gift Fund will help ensure we are prepared and have the flexibility to host a memorable celebration befitting our historic significance. We want people to feel a connection to our history and each other as we prepare to welcome the world to Concord in the spring.
To every citizen, every business, and every organization of Concord, as well as all citizens across the country who wish to pay homage to the revolutionary role Concord played in the creation of our nation, we ask you to join us by contributing what you can. Every dollar counts.
