With the state in a high fire danger condition, Concord is prohibiting all outdoor burning, effective immediately, the Fire Department said Tuesday.
This includes — but is not limited to — residential yard burning, such as leaves or brush; fire pits and bonfires; and agricultural burns.
The ban will remain in effect until weather conditions improve, according to the town website, and CFD will update the public through its official channels.
Residents are urged to take extra precautions with grills or other outdoor equipment that might generate flames or cause sparks.
Exceptions to the ban must be made in coordination with the Fire Department, including an approved safety plan, authorities said.
