Wednesday, November 6
8:39 a.m. A woman refused medical attention after she was hit by a car while walking near Sudbury Road and Thoreau Street.
8:43 a.m. A 911 caller reported a “minor” two-car crash at Main and Elm Streets. Police ordered a tow truck to clear one car and cited the driver.
12:32 p.m. A ranger reported two people driving motorcycles on the Estabrook Woods trails. The ranger advised the motorists, who said they had permission from residents, that motorized bikes were not allowed on the trails. They left before police arrived.
5:10 p.m. A Cottage Lane caller reported a “possibly intoxicated” man walking around screaming in support of the election results. Police found no one matching the description in the area.
8:42 p.m. A 911 caller from Barretts Mill Road reported hearing the sound of two gunshots “close” to his home, possibly coming from the property next door. Officers confiscated fireworks from the neighbors and cited them for illegal possession of same. The fire department secured the explosives.
9:43 p.m. A 911 caller reported they hit a deer while driving on Walden Street and were unsure if the animal ran off.
Thursday, November 7
5:32 p.m. A motorist on Laws Brook Road reported seeing a chainsaw in the roadway by Maple Street. Responding officers found nothing on the road.
Friday, November 8
1:47 a.m. Police spotted a wrong-way driver on the eastbound side of Route 2 near Sudbury Road and stopped the car before Old Road to Nine Acre Corner. An officer said the driver “checks OK” but cited them for wrong-way driving on a state highway. The driver was sent on their way in the westbound lane.
6:39 a.m. Someone reported a mobile device was taken from their car around noon the prior day while it was parked on Baker Avenue. The person said they left their flip-phone device on the vehicle’s armrest and realized it was gone when they went to use it.
9:15 a.m. A Willow Street resident asked to speak with the animal control officer about a bird in their home. The officer was notified to follow up.
10:36 a.m. A driver involved in a “road rage” incident on Harrington Avenue near the Pine Street bridge reported another motorist struck his car multiple times and then took off. Paramedics responded and evaluated the driver, who refused medical treatment. Police issued a summons to the other motorist.
10:49 a.m. A passerby on Elm Street called 911 to report smoke in the area of the MCI-Concord building. Officers spoke with State Police, who confirmed it was steam coming from vents on the building.
3:56 p.m. A dog sitter on Central Street reported an insulation van had stopped in the street and hadn’t moved for five minutes. Police found no issues, as the workers were requesting passes for an overnight shift in the area.
5:46 p.m. A driver called after hitting a deer at Lexington and Bypass roads. There was no damage to the car, but the deer died. Police removed the carcass from the road and notified the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
6:14 p.m. Concord-Carlisle High School’s athletic director asked police to help contain an “unruly crowd” on the turf field during a soccer game. Officers responded.
7:27 p.m. A Central Street resident reported an erroneous Amazon delivery of 11 bags of groceries addressed to a Central Street address in Acton and asked officers what to do with the unwanted food. Police contacted the Acton residents, who said to dispose of the goods.
9:16 p.m. A caller reported a Honda driver swerving in and out of lanes and “randomly” accelerating on Lowell Road. Police stopped the car on Sudbury Road at Thoreau Street, where officers conducted a field sobriety test. Auner David Enriquez Ramirez, 35, of Waltham, was arrested and charged with second-offense drunken driving and having an open container of alcohol. A tow truck removed the car.
Saturday, November 9
8:27 a.m. A Lowell Road caller reported the carcass of a dead opossum lying in front of a mailbox. Concord Public Works was notified.
8:33 a.m. Concord Public Works reported multiple cars were parked in a “no parking” area posted for a ceremony in Monument Square. Police cited two cars and contacted the owners to remove them.
11:33 a.m. Transit police reported a man pacing across the train tracks for about 30 minutes at the Thoreau Street station. Police responded and found no issues, saying the man was watching the trains.
12:32 p.m. An Estabrook Road resident reported an illegally parked car near the trailhead. Police issued a citation.
1:42 p.m. A caller reported graffiti in Chamberlin Park off Keyes Road. Concord Public Works was notified to remove the graffiti from the footbridge.
4:46 p.m. An Elsinore Street caller reported that the water coming out of his tap smelled like lavender soap, and he was concerned. Police notified the Water Department.
Sunday, November 10
5:42 A Bristers Hill Road resident reported someone had stolen his garbage bins with the town stickers on them sometime on Friday or Saturday. Police responded.
Monday, November 11
10:52 a.m. A motorist on Knox Trail Road reported a man was drinking vodka on the side of the road. Acton police were notified.
11:51 a.m. A Hubbard Street caller reported items stolen from his home. Police spoke with the homeowner, who located the missing items.
12:38 p.m. A 911 caller reported her car was rear-ended at Main Street and Keyes Road and said the other driver “fled the scene.” Police were unable to locate the other vehicle.
5:04 p.m. A Stone Root Lane caller reported people walking on his property to access White Pond and the rail trail. Responding officers told the homeowner he could post no-trespass signs.
Tuesday, November 12
12:03 a.m. A 911 caller told police he was stranded with no transportation after his girlfriend kicked him out of her Elm Street home. State Police handled the matter.
6:39 a.m. A caller reported a deer lying on Sudbury Road between Route 2 and Heaths Bridge Road. The deer was gone when police arrived.
3:57 p.m. A Bronson Way caller reported a sick raccoon lying in front of his garage. Police notified the animal control officer.
9:14 p.m. A walk-in to police headquarters reported someone had deflated the tires to an excavator parked in a Baker Avenue lot sometime overnight.
