Wednesday, November 20

4:39 a.m. A passerby reported a medium-size white and gray dog was in the left-hand lane of Route 2 eastbound across from Emerson Hospital. Officers were unable to locate the canine.

10:48 a.m. A 911 call from an employee at a Main Street business reported a delivery vehicle struck a light post and left the area. Concord Municipal Light responded.

Thursday, November 21 

11:40 a.m. A Southfield Circle resident called 911 when someone tried to open her front door and farmer’s porch door. Officers determined a cleaner was at the wrong address.

7:30 p.m. A passing motorist reported a downed tree was blocking part of Elm Street. Officers moved the tree out of the road and notified Concord Public Works.

Friday, November 22

5:35 a.m. Police responded to Emerson Hospital after security officers reported a man was sleeping in the emergency room waiting area and refusing to leave, and they learned the 27-year-old Acton man had arrived in a stolen car. MBTA officials reported the vehicle stolen from the Alewife T station in Cambridge several hours earlier. Officers charged Michael Mundowa with receiving a stolen car and resisting arrest.

9:50 a.m. A Border Road resident reported a “shaking raccoon” in his driveway. Police notified the animal control officer.

11:49 a.m. A 911 caller reported two dogs running near Nashawtuc and Musketaquid Roads. The dogs and owner were reunited before police services were needed.

5:34 A Nathan Pratt Drive caller reported a scam involving the design and sale of clothing for an unknown business. 

8 p.m. Two motorists alerted police to an erratic, possibly intoxicated driver on Main Street who had pulled over in front of Bedford Farms. Officers charged Eugene Yanayt with operating under the influence (second offense) and possession of an open container of alcohol.

Saturday, November 23

12:05 a.m. A 911 caller from Junction Square Drive reported he was working late and believed he heard someone talking outside for about 25 minutes and the attempted opening of a window. Responding officers found nothing unusual.

9:53 a.m. A woman fishing at White Pond called 911 to report a man was swimming naked. The man was gone when police arrived.

10 a.m. A Captain Miles Lane man reported identity theft and bank accounts opened in his name.

10:33 a.m. Staff at a Main Street bank reported a man was in a wheelchair outside the bank and turning customers away. Police advised the man of his rights and told him to move along.

Sunday, November 24

1:11 p.m. A Prairie Street resident reported “excessive noise” from construction or landscaping that had started at 6:45 a.m. Police advised the caller of bylaw restrictions, but the caller “felt the noise was excessive for a Sunday.” Officers found no noise or issues in the area. 

3:14 p.m.  A 911 caller reported a bicyclist hit his car near Walden and Main Streets. 

11:34 p.m. A Nut Meadow Crossing resident reported a car with its lights on had been parked at the end of his driveway for four hours. Police spoke with the driver, who delivers for DoorDash, and advised them to move along.

Monday, November 25

8:48 p.m. A 911 caller reported a car was traveling westbound on Route 2 in the eastbound lane near Sudbury Road. Officers could not locate the driver.

Tuesday, November 26

12:53 p.m. Concord Fire Department reported a car was hanging over a ditch at Verrill Farm after it entered the parking lot too quickly. The driver ordered a tow for the vehicle.
