Join Be Well Be Here’s compassionate communication facilitators to navigate the landscape of grief. Together we will create a sustaining space to explore how loss impacts the body, mind, and spirit through mindful listening, healing practices such as meditation or Reiki, and compassionate conversation. Arrive to simply listen and feel cared for by those who understand that grieving is an on-going process. This program will take place on Zoom.

“Teen PYOB: Paint Your Own Bookmark” Tuesday, November 29, 4:00pm.
Design your own bookmark with watercolor! Make one as a gift for family and friends, or just for you. Multi-faceted artist Margaret McCandless will facilitate, who is an expert in combining the musical, visual, dramatic, and creative. This program takes place in the Teen Room at the Main Library.
“Teen Dungeons and Dragons” Wednesday, November 30, 3:30pm.
Teens! Join Dungeons and Dragons at the Teen Lounge in the Main Library. Play casual one-off games or start a campaign with others. Beginners encouraged. Experts expected to help out! No registration required.

Children’s Programs
“Mandarin Storytime with First Connections at Fowler” Wednesday, November 30, 10:30am
This special opportunity for learning and practicing Mandarin is open to children aged 2 to 5 years old. Parents and children attend together, and siblings are welcome to listen in as our Story Teller engages children in songs, reads stories in Mandarin, leads language exercises, and introduces Chinese characters. “Musical Mornings with Ricardo, A Music Class in Spanish and English at Fowler” Saturday, December 3, 11:00am.
Ricardo Rosales will join us on the first Saturday of every month for a special music class in Spanish and English. Expand your musical and language skills in this program sponsored by the Friends of Concord Free Public Library. This program is intended for ages 7 and under and their caregivers, and will take place either in the Fowler Branch Backyard or Fowler Meeting Room dependingontheweather.Noregistration required.
