Detail needed for village vote

November 9, 2022

This reader wants to thank the Concord Bridge staff for their willingness to provide a “free” paper to the residents of Concord. In the last Oct. 28th issue, I noted more than one article that concerned the Junction Village affordable Assisted Living Project. If the current Select Board was not in favor of the plans submitted by the Grantham Group, I would hope that more detail could have been provided in the article. As a resident of West Concord, it is my belief that at the least, the development of the Junction Village area would have provided more life to that part of town. At the most, it would have been a step forward in providing housing that is reachable to those who are enthusiastic about all the town has to offer, and would certainly be thrilled at the chance of being able to live here.
