1:38 a.m. Police checked on a vehicle on Main Street and Dee Road. A DoorDash driver went to the wrong location and moved along with no issues.
4:11 p.m. A resident walked into the station and donated cold cuts, condiments and bread left over from a shiva.
4:38 p.m. A Main Street resident reported two packages were stolen from her front porch. A second call reported the packages were located. They had blown into the neighbor’s yard.
4:52 p.m. A passerby reported kids skating on ice off Lowell Road by Barretts Mill Road. The caller felt the ice was not safe. Police found a single adult male skating who told police he’d checked the ice and it was thick enough for skating.
Saturday, Feb. 4
12:12 a.m. A caller reported a possibly intoxicated driver in the Route 2 rotary who was speeding and almost hit multiple vehicles. The driver got out and appeared to inspect the outside of his var before continuing towards Acton. Police were unable to locate the car.
4:08 a.m. Police checked on a vehicle running on Virginia Road. The driver was retrieving items from a workplace.
8:41 a.m. A resident of Main Street reported she had Roto Rooter at her residence and after snaking the system the company said there was a block in the system at the street. The water department was notified and responded.
9:13 a.m. An Old Marlboro Road resident reported having no water coming into the home. The water department was notified.
10:05 a.m. The owner of a three-bay garage on Main and River streets reported an unknown vehicle parking in one of the bays. The caller later said it was a misunderstanding with his neighbor.
12:13 p.m. A caller from Main Street reported striking a large pothole causing a flat tire but as the tire was a run-flat variety, the caller returned home. Police found a small pothole in the road but were unable to place a cone over it as it is in the middle of the lane.
12:14 p.m. A person from the Concord Public Library called to say a dog was alone inside a car parked in the Emerson Umbrella lot. Police found the owner, who checked on the dog.
3:29 p.m. A caller from Minuteman Drive reported no water in the house. The water department was notified.
5:30 p.m. A passerby on Indian Pipe Lane reported a dog barking for about 30 minutes. Police contacted the homeowner who worked to get the dog inside. No issues.
9:15 p.m. A caller from Indian Pipe Lane reported a dog barking for the past two hours. Animal control was notified.
Sunday, Feb. 5
12:35 a.m. Lincoln police reported possible gunshots in the area of Farrar Pond and wanted to know if there were similar reports on Fitchburg Turnpike. Police checked Nashawtuc Country Club and found it all quiet.
3:02 a.m. Police checked on a vehicle in the Rideout Playground parking lot and found a person picking up a person.
8:19 a.m. The train gates were reported down by Baker Avenue for 15 minutes with no train approaching. Keolis was notified. A short time later, a similar issue arose on Commonwealth Avenue. Both matters were resolved.
9:39 a.m. Callers from Highland and Prairie streets both reported their dogs were attacked by a skunk in their yards. Animal control was notified.
12:22 p.m. A passerby on Belknap Street reported a large crack in the telephone pole, causing a hazard. Police said the pole snapped in half. The municipal light plant was notified. Police followed up with the construction company doing work at a Belknap Street site.
Monday, Feb. 6
12:42 a.m. Police checked on a vehicle on Route 2 and Walden Street where a driver pulled over to check for a nearby gas station. No issues.
12:51 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle on Route 2 westbound at Old Road to Nine Acre Corner and issued a summons for operating after suspension and speeding. The motorist was transported to Emerson Hospital to await a ride and the car was towed from the road.
8:22 a.m. A motorist reported a minor collision in the parking lot of Baker Avenue Extension Police checked the area and the cars had left.
11:38 a.m. A motorist reported being involved in a minor collision on Elm Street before entering the rotary. But police contacted state police since the collision occurred inside the rotary. One person was transported to Emerson Hospital.
12:54 p.m. The railroad gates were reported down on Commonwealth Avenue with no train arriving. Keolis was advised and responded.
2:31 p.m. A caller reported a male with a gray beard rode an electrical bicycle into her car while she was turning around on Main Street by Concord Academy. The caller said the male was upset and threw a coin at her striking her face. Police were unable to locate the biker, but he had been observed earlier in the day wearing a brown Carhartt jacket and a brown hat and riding a thick-framed motorized bicycle with thick tires. Police were unable to find him.
9:18 p.m. A passerby reported five deer on Route 2 creating a traffic backup near Emerson Hospital. State police were unable to find the deer.
Tuesday, Feb. 7
12:24 a.m. A resident of Nathan Pratt Drive reported her downstairs neighbor talking extremely loud on the phone. Police contacted both parties to resolve the issue.
1:11 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle with New Hampshire plates on Route 2 and arrested a person on an outstanding warrant. The person was unable to make bail.
7:17 a.m. Police responded to a two-car crash on Route 2 and ORNAC. No injuries. State police followed up.
11:28 a.m. Police responded to a two-car crash on Commonwealth Avenue with no injuries. Both cars were towed.
4:01 p.m. Police checked on a person at the Old North Bridge hitting golf balls. The person was advised that it is not allowed.
6:10 p.m. A deer was hit by a car on Lowell Road and had to be euthanized.
Wednesday, Feb. 8
9:48 a.m. Suspicious activity was reported regarding an open electrical panel on Sudbury and Garfield roads. Verizon employees were working in the area.
10:18 a.m. An employee at the Concord Public Library reported an electric vehicle in an EV charging parking spot but not charging. Police advised there were open EV slots nearby.
2:42 p.m. An Old Marlboro Road resident requested police help after arriving home and finding both the garage and front doors open. Police checked the house and found nothing amiss.
3:11 p.m. A caller reported a dog off-leash on Virginia and Phillip Farm roads. The caller said the dog gets loose multiple days a week and causes a traffic obstruction.
3:27 p.m. A caller reported a wrong-way driver struck a parked car in Monument Square. Police were unable to find the car.
4:27 p.m. A motorist in the rotary reported a male on a motorbike hit her car and drove off toward West Concord. He was described as white, older, wearing a gray jacket and jeans. Police did not find the man. Police talked to a walker on the Rail Trail who said he saw someone matching that description riding towards Acton.
5:30 p.m. An Adams Road resident reported a dark BMW parked in front of a home that the caller said was unoccupied. Police found it was an Uber driver pulled over waiting for another ride request.
Thursday, Feb. 9
2:55 p.m. A Main Street resident called to report she believes a neighbor is deliberately damaging her mailbox by driving into it with his truck. Police were unable to locate the truck.
3:16 p.m. a sick raccoon was euthanized on Monument Street.
