Friday, Feb. 10
4:08 a.m. Police checked on a vehicle pulled over on Lowell Road by Liberty Street. The operator was tired and wanted to rest before continuing to work in Cambridge.
7:15 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle and issued a summons for unlicensed operation.
9:31 a.m. A woman came into the station saying her gray and white cat was missing from her Old Marlboro Road home. Animal control was advised.
9:37 a.m. Police addressed parking complaints at Concord Academy on Main Street and advised a film crew of public parking spaces.
12:20 p.m. A caller from Monument Street reported someone called at his mother’s residence in Bedford in a “grandparent scam,” but no information was relayed.
1:09 p.m. Police received multiple calls reporting a two-car accident with possible injury on Route 2 and Baker Avenue Extension. State police arrived at the scene to clear the intersection, diverting traffic to Baker Avenue Extension. Both cars were towed.
6:40 p.m. AAA called to report being enroute to a disabled car on Elm Street by MCI Concord where the driver didn’t feel safe on the side of the road by himself. Police checked on the man who said he was all right and AAA was minutes away.
7:16 p.m. Police checked on a vehicle by the boat ramp on Lowell Road by Liberty Street. The driver was picking up his kayak. No issues.
10:45 p.m. Lincoln police reported an erratic operator heading west on Route 2. Police were unable to find the car.
Saturday, Feb. 11
1:57 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle on Old Marlboro Road and issued a summons to the driver for operating with a suspended registration. The license was taken by police and the car was left in the driveway of the motorist’s residence.
11:54 a.m. A resident of Main Street reported a gray Subaru was parked too close to the middle of Prairie Street. Police found the vehicle slightly more than 12 inches off the curb in violation. A courtesy tag was issued for parking too far away from the curb.
2:58 p.m. An officer on detail on Stow Street reported a passerby was concerned for dogs left inside a car parked on Hubbard Street. Police found the dogs did not appear to be in distress.
Sunday, Feb. 12
3:52 a.m. Police reported a car parked at a Main Street business and found the driver resting.
9:42 a.m. A passerby reported children skating on Macone Pond and believed the ice wasn’t safe. Police found two children and two adults on the ice and advised them to use caution.
1:03 p.m. A Virginia Road caller saw a dog walking down the street and picked it up and took it to her house. Animal control was advised. The owner, who also lived on the street, picked up the dog.
8:52 p.m. Police were flagged down about a man lying down in front of Helen’s Restaurant. The man was looking for his wallet. No issues.
10:13 p.m. A Pilgrim road resident reported damage to his car after a collision with a raccoon. He said the incident occurred in Lincoln near Tracy’s Corner. He said the animal ran in front of his vehicle causing visible damage to the front bumper and radiator.
10:49 p.m. Police received multiple 911 calls about gunshots in the area of Hawthorne Village. Police said it was due to fireworks on Pond Lane.
Monday, Feb. 13
10:25 a.m. A White Avenue resident reported multiple appliances in the front yard including a refrigerator with the doors open. No issues.
2:29 p.m. A passerby reported a vehicle playing loud music in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot on Thoreau Street. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
3:18 p.m. Police responded to a crash at the end of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner by Emerson Hospital and issued a citation for failure to use care when starting and stopping.
6:07 p.m. A woman reported receiving a letter for a past due account with a collection agency involved. The woman didn’t feel it was legitimate. Police responded it was spam mail and advised how to handle it in the future.
Tuesday, Feb. 14
3:23 p.m. A Ridge Road resident reported a white and brown dog running around the area. Animal control was notified.
5:04 p.m. The Concord-Carlisle High School athletic director requested an escort for the Nordic Ski Team that won states. Police met the bus on Route 2 at the rotary.
6:45 p.m. A caller reported a deer struck his vehicle on Lexington Road near Shadyside Ave. Police were unable to locate the deer. Minimal damage to the vehicle.
11:13 p.m. A man called police stating that he received a call from a friend in Mexico with a Concord resident who was in a serious climbing accident. Both men were unable to reach family members and asked police to deliver the message to an Independence Road residence. Later the caller said he was able to contact family members.
Wednesday, Feb. 15
2:02 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle on Route 2 at Elm Street and arrested a man for alcohol related offenses.
2:50 a.m. Police arrested a man for alcohol related offenses after finding him asleep at the wheel on Walden and Thoreau streets.
10:46 a.m. A person turned in various loose ammunition for safekeeping.
3:36 p.m. Police responded to a minor collision at Middlesex School.
11:30 p.m. Police received a call from a Thoreau Court resident reporting a dog barking for an hour but police were unable to find the animal.
Thursday, Feb. 16
7 a.m. Police issued a summons to a motorist on Cambridge Turnpike for suspended registration, speeding and driving an uninsured vehicle.
7:53 a.m. Police responded to a minor crash on Stow and Hubbard Sts. with no injuries. The operator was issued a citation for failure to use care.
11:20 a.m. Police assisted at a crash on Route 2 before Sudbury Road. Paper exchange completed.
12:10 p.m. Police assisted with a disabled vehicle that was pushed off Route 2 onto Main Street. International Collision responded with a tow.
12:11 p.m. A bicyclist walked into the lobby with a cellphone that was found on Main Street. Police delivered the phone to the Elsinore Street resident.
3:01 p.m. A national park ranger radioed that a white Mercedes was heading toward Concord Center at a high rate of speed. Police were unable to find the vehicle.
