Diane Dallon Frost of Concord died peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 23 at the age of 92.
Relatives and friends will gather for a memorial service in celebration of her life at Trinitarian Congregational Church, 54 Walden Street, Concord Center on Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m. For those who wish to attend the service remotely, the church livestream link may be found on Diane’s obituary page on Dee Funeral Home’s website.
She treasured her 63 years of marriage to her precious late husband Everett “Ev” Frost. They raised five daughters in five different states, Pamela Smith (David), the late Linda McGlynn (Francis), Nancy Frost, Karen Anderson (David), and Barbara Frost Assarian. Diane leaves ten grandchildren, Jeff, Chad, Shawn, Brent, Monica, Bradley, Sophie, Hayley, Taylor and Jake, one great granddaughter, Makenna, all of whom meant the world to her. She also leaves her brother Douglas Dallon and his children, along with members of the Motland family.
Diane was raised and married on Long Island, graduated from Oneonta State Teachers College and dedicated her life to mentoring and teaching children and adults.
During her 51 years in Concord, she was a devoted and active member of Trinitarian Congregational Church, serving as part of the staff for many years and always active and engaged with the youth of the church. Within the community, she was involved with Concord Prison Outreach, participating and leading parenting workshops and Alternatives to Violence for inmates in both MCI and NCC, as well as other facilities in the state. As an early member of CAP (Citizens for Action and Prevention), she was engaged with the schools offering programs on substance abuse prevention for both students and parents.
Everyone that had the privilege of meeting Diane felt her gifts of kindness, spirituality and unconditional love! She will be greatly missed!
