Faith Pigors Waters passed away on March 6 at the age of 94, joining her beloved husband James L. Waters who died May 17, 2021.
Faith’s friends will remember her as a violinist, singer, writer and horsewoman. Her students and colleagues will remember her as the committed and creative teacher of her “black leather jacket boys” in Watertown as well as a mentor and friend. What she learned in Watertown made her invaluable as Jim’s partner in their work through the Waters Center for Systems Thinking assisting schools and corporations adopt and integrate systems thinking into classroom curriculum and organizational learning.
Faith is survived by her son, Richard C. Waters and his wife Patricia; her daughter Barbara Waters Roop and her husband Stephen; her four grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Alec and Matthew Waters; Andrew’s wife Linda Gosner; her great grandson, Reid Waters; her nieces Sylvia Weld, Karen Reed and and Judy Cox; and her nephews Stephen Wright and Tom Wright.
Faith and Jim spent the last years of their lives at Newbury Court in Concord.
