Article 37 will steer us back in the direction of respecting everyone’s property rights (noise and pollution). The idea that it will increase the cost of landscape maintenance ignores the costs you are dumping on others. Should I have the right to dump my garbage over the fence onto my neighbor’s property? After all, it is low cost for me. I used to commute to Boston every day, but now I work from home and am amazed at how much more disruptive the leaf blowers are compared to working in downtown Boston. Vote yes for Article 37 at Town Meeting on April 30.
